Providing great support, friendship, recreation and volunteering opportunities in the Derbyshire Dales
Our services in the Derbyshire Dales offer daytime support and activities based in Bakewell and Matlock.
We offer a flexible service based on people's talents, interests and needs. And provide a wide range of activities in our centre and out and about in the community.
Our ambition is to find out what people love to do and work with them to make this happen.
Our services actively connect with people and their communities providing a great programme of activities including:
- Community volunteering
- Sports and leisure
- Arts and crafts and music
- Walking groups, conservation and nature
- Swimming, cooking and baking
- Learning and education
- Planning and hosting events.
Our partners include, Matlock Farm Park, Derbyshire Dales District Council, Adult Education Services and the Eco Centre, as well as Arc Leisure Centre, Peak Rail, Dukes Barn and Friends of Hurst Farm.
We pride ourselves in working collaboratively with people, their family/carers and with specialist professionals including physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and adult care.
We offer support dependent on people's needs and preferences including one-to-one support.
Our services are open Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm.
